Dive into the details of our clinic’s operations by perusing the frequently asked questions below, addressing common queries that owners may have.

Do I have to call to make an appointment?

Here at AESC we are a walk-in clinic and go based off a triage system. This ensures that pets with more critical conditions receive prompt attention.

What exactly is a triage system?

A triage system helps prioritize and address the urgency of your pet’s medical needs. It ensures that pets with more critical conditions receive prompt attention, improving overall care efficiency.

How is the severity of my pet’s condition assessed during triage?

Our experienced veterinary team assesses various factors, including the nature of the illness or injury, vital signs, and overall well-being. This comprehensive evaluation helps determine the appropriate level of care.

Does AESC offer payment plans?

While AESC itself doesn’t provide payment plans, we do accept payments through two third-party companies: CareCredit and Scratchpay.

What is CareCredit?

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that can be used to cover a variety of medical expenses, including veterinary care.

How does CareCredit work?

Pet owners can apply for CareCredit, and if approved, they can use it to pay for veterinary services. CareCredit often offers promotional financing options, such as interest-free periods, allowing you to manage your payments more effectively.

What is ScratchPay?

Scratchpay is a financing platform specifically designed for veterinary care. It provides a straightforward way to cover your pet’s medical bills.

How does ScratchPay work?

To use Scratchpay, you can apply online or through our clinic. Once approved, Scratchpay pays the veterinary bill directly, and you repay Scratchpay through a flexible payment plan. The application process is quick, and approval decisions are usually fast.

Can I visit my pet in the hospital?

Visitation policies vary by patients needs, but in general we allow visitations with out any specific timeframe.

Please check with our staff for specific guidelines.
